Do You Like Mathematics?

Many students in Indonesia think of mathematics as a difficult subject. This has made them lose interest in mathematics from the beginning and has made them unable to see the attractive side to math.


Windi, an 10th grader at a state senior high school in Depok, West Java, said she does not like mathematics because she thinks it is complicated. For her, playing basketball is more fun than studying math. A lot of student share the same feelings about the math, and cannot find any reason to like the subject. Only a few student understand mathematics, see its beauty and love it. On such student is Atika.

Atika, better known as a Tika, is one of to Indonesian students who took gold medals at the first Wizard at MAthematics Competition (WIZMIC), held last October in Lucknow, India. Tika has very different view on mathematics: 'It's challeging because it is difficult. If it was easy, it wouldn't be interesting', she said. Tika's love for mathematics has pushed her to study the subject very hard and to join a mathematic club in her hometown of Bogor.

How can many student s dislike math while others love it ???

Setelah baca itu, baru nyadar kalo kita itu gak boleh benci sama yang namanya MATEMATIKA. "It's challeging" haha :D ditunggulah pak imam di kelas :D :D
